Our sampleHow many grams of NaCl do you need to make 250 mL of a 0.20 mol/dm³ solution? Use NaCl = 58.5 g/mol.
Tap an answer to see the explanation.
Show the answerThe answer
The answer is B: 2.93 g.
- A) Wrong. This is the mass for 100 mL, not 250 mL.
- B) Right. Moles = 0.20 × 0.250 = 0.050 mol. Mass = 0.050 × 58.5 = 2.925 g.
- C) Wrong. This is the mass for a full litre. You need only a quarter of it.
- D) Wrong. This reads 250 mL as 2.5 dm³. It is 0.250 dm³.

Questions
What students and parents ask
Who runs PolandMedPrep? Do you have reviews?
PolandMedPrep is run by Prepalio International B.V., a private limited company registered in the Netherlands at Honingerdijk 85A01, 3063 AK Rotterdam. Its Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number is 42134936, so you can check it in the Dutch business register. We are not part of any of the five universities, and we are not an agent: you apply to each university yourself. We sell exam preparation, never university places. PolandMedPrep is new, so it has no reviews yet. Questions? Email contact@polandmedprep.com.
Do I need to take an entrance exam?
It depends on the school, and on where your school certificate is from.
- Gdańsk: 60 questions in 90 minutes, after a grades check.
- PUMS: 60 questions in 60 minutes, in person.
- Silesia: grades, not an exam, for most.
- Lublin: everyone sits a short test (20 questions in 20 minutes) and an interview.
- Szczecin: No quiz if your school certificate is from the EU, the OECD or EFTA, or from a country with a recognition agreement. IB and EB holders skip it too.
OECD countries include the UK, the US, Canada and Australia. EFTA is Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
When are the 2027 exam dates and deadlines?
- Gdańsk: Not published yet. Last year (2026): The Admission Office ran exams on 14 May, 28 May, 24 June, 8 July (for the USA and Canada), and 15, 22, 29 and 30 July. Agencies ran more dates from May to July, some in person, for example in Norway.
- PUMS: To start in September 2027, apply by 20 July 2027. Classes start on 6 September 2027. In 2026, exam sessions ran in person around the world, from March to August.
- Lublin: Not published yet. Last year (2026): Registration window: 17 April to 7 October 2026 at the latest. There is no single exam day. Your test and interview date is set after your documents and fee are checked.
- Szczecin: There are no fixed dates. Your link comes in the last days of the registration period. You choose when to sit it, within its 48 hours.
- Silesia: see its application rounds.
Check the school's page again before you pay or book.
If we pay the fees, is a place guaranteed?
No. Every school sets a bar, and nobody can promise a place. We cannot either.
- Gdańsk: Your result comes from the written exam and the interview. The written exam gives up to 60 points, 1 for each question. A written score below 60% usually means no interview, and so rejection. The interview is marked out of 10, and you need 6. You learn your interview mark afterwards.
- PUMS: PUMS looks at your science knowledge and reasoning, mainly about the human body. It also looks at your motivation, people skills and professionalism, volunteering or work in health care, and your English. It publishes no pass mark.
- Silesia: 100 points minimum. Read more.
- Lublin: 60% in each part. Read more.
- Szczecin: 10 of 20 to pass. Read more.
Is there an interview? Can you prepare me for it?
Yes, at Gdańsk, PUMS and Lublin. Each school's page says how it works: Gdańsk, PUMS, Lublin.
Our Live Intensive Course covers the Gdańsk and PUMS interviews. Our practice does not simulate any interview.
Do I need IELTS as a native speaker, or with a UK or US passport?
Usually yes. The rules differ by school:
- Gdańsk: You need an English certificate at level B2 or higher (on the European scale of language levels), such as IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 80. You may not need one if you have the IB with an English grade at HL or SL. Some Nordic diploma grades also count: 4 or higher in Norway, C or VG in Sweden, 7 or higher in Denmark.
- PUMS: You need an English certificate, for example: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 94 (or paper 587), TOEIC Listening and Reading 900, PTE Academic 60, Cambridge CAE or CPE, or LanguageCert C1. Your English is also judged at the interview.
- Szczecin: You need English at level B2 or higher, from the university's own list. Examples: Cambridge FCE, CAE or CPE, IELTS (the list gives 5.5 to 6.5) and TOEFL iBT (72 to 94). An IB or EB diploma counts, and so does an EU school diploma taught fully in English. These do not count: an English grade on any school-leaving certificate (including the German Abitur and Scandinavian certificates), a year abroad, US, UK or Canadian citizenship, course certificates, preparatory courses, or schooling only partly in English.
- Silesia and Lublin: see the certificates Silesia and Lublin accept.
Not on a school's list of exceptions? Plan to take a test, such as IELTS. Skip it only if the school tells you in writing that you need none.
Is it worth paying an agency, or can I apply myself?
You can apply yourself: every school on this site takes applications online. Agencies also run their own Gdańsk sittings, and their deadlines can be earlier. The choice is yours. We are not an agent, and we do not sell university places.
Will the degree let my child work as a doctor abroad, for example in the UK?
This site covers admission only. The rules for working as a doctor differ by country. Ask the medical regulator in the country where your child plans to work. In the UK, that is the General Medical Council (GMC).
In the UK, registering as a doctor and getting a training post are two separate questions. Ask about both before you apply.
